Inflation Rate in Angola
Inflation ticks down in April
Inflation came in at 10.6% in April, which was down from March’s 10.8%. A strong harvest, coupled with fuel and food subsidies are key drivers of inflation’s continued downtrend.
Meanwhile, the trend pointed down as annual average inflation dropped to 16.2% in April from 17.4% in March.
Finally, consumer prices increased 0.92% over the previous month in April, picking up from March’s 0.90% rise. April’s figure marked the highest reading since May 2022.
